What Affects the Price of Sliding Doors?
Number of Panels & Track Type
Sliding doors are available in 2-track and 3-track configurations. More panels and wider openings increase the cost. The track type affects how many panels can slide and the maximum clear opening.
Panel Size
Sash sizes up to 2,500mm × 3,000mm are available. Larger individual panels require heavier-duty hardware and thicker glass, which adds to the cost.
Colour Finish
Standard colours (White, Anthracite Grey, Black) are included in the base price. Non-standard RAL colours add £200–£500. Dual-colour options (different inside and out) are available on stock finishes at no extra cost.
Glazing Specification
28mm double glazing is standard. Upgrading to 44mm triple glazing improves thermal and acoustic performance but adds £400–£800 depending on panel size. Solar control and self-cleaning options also available.
Threshold & Access Options
Standard threshold is included. Low-threshold or level-access options for Part M compliance or wheelchair access may add £100–£300 to the overall price.
